Pacing Guides

ZAPZ Prep Virtual Private School • 12‑Month Rolling Academic Calendar

ZAPZ Prep uses a flexible 12‑month pacing model that allows students to start courses at multiple points throughout the year and progress at a speed that matches their learning needs. Pacing Guides help students stay on track, complete courses on time, and maintain consistent academic progress.

How Pacing Works at ZAPZ Prep

  • Students may begin courses at multiple start points throughout the year
  • Each course includes weekly pacing expectations
  • Students work at their own pace but must meet mastery checkpoints
  • Support Coaches monitor progress and provide interventions
  • Advisors review pacing during monthly check‑ins
  • Families receive pacing updates through the ZAPZ Dashboard

Weekly Pacing Expectations

Students are expected to complete a set number of lessons, assignments, and mastery checks each week. Weekly pacing ensures students finish courses within the 12‑month term.

  • Complete assigned ZAPZ Academy modules
  • Attend scheduled live classes
  • Submit weekly assignments and quizzes
  • Participate in small‑group or 1:1 support sessions (as needed)
  • Maintain consistent login and engagement activity
