Graduation Requirements
ZAPZ Prep Virtual Private School • Florida Statewide • Mastery‑Based Diploma Program
ZAPZ Prep awards a high school diploma to students who complete all required credits, demonstrate mastery in each course, and fulfill all academic expectations outlined by the school. Our graduation pathway is designed to prepare students for college, career, entrepreneurship, and real‑world success.
Credit Requirements (Total: 24 Credits)
- English Language Arts: 4 credits
- Mathematics: 4 credits (must include Algebra & Geometry)
- Science: 3 credits (Biology required)
- Social Studies: 3 credits (World History, US History, Government/Economics)
- World Languages: 2 credits (same language)
- Fine Arts: 1 credit
- Physical Education: 1 credit
- Electives: 6 credits
Mastery Requirements
ZAPZ Prep uses a mastery‑based learning model. Students must demonstrate proficiency before earning credit.
- 80% mastery required on all major assessments
- Completion of all course modules and assignments
- Demonstrated understanding through projects and performance tasks
- Advisor approval for course completion
Life Readiness Track (4 Years)
All high school students complete a four‑year Life Readiness Track designed to build real‑world skills.

- Digital citizenship
- College & workforce preparation
Senior Capstone Project
All seniors complete a capstone project demonstrating mastery, creativity, and real‑world application.
- Research project
- Portfolio or product creation
- Presentation to faculty panel
- Reflection on learning and future goals
Attendance & Engagement Requirements
Students must remain actively engaged in their courses to remain on track for graduation.
- Daily login to ZAPZ Academy
- Participation in live classes
- Consistent assignment completion
- Advisor check‑ins and progress reviews
