1. ZAPZ Prep Overview
ZAPZ Prep is a private virtual school that blends live instruction, self‑paced learning, and whole‑child wellness. Parents are partners in the learning process.
2. Parent Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure daily log‑ins and attendance.
- Provide a quiet, organized learning space.
- Monitor ZAPZ Academy progress weekly.
- Communicate with advisors and teachers.
- Support wellness, routines, and sleep.
3. Communication Channels
Parents can contact ZAPZ Prep through email, parent portal messages, scheduled calls, and advisor meetings. We aim to respond within 24–48 hours.
4. Technology & Hardware
Families are responsible for maintaining devices and internet access. ZAPZ hardware options include Smart Box, CYAN AR Glasses, and uMouse. See the Technology Use Policy for details.
5. Attendance & Engagement
Parents must report absences, support daily routines, and ensure students attend live classes and complete ZAPZ Academy work.
6. Wellness & Support Coaches
Parents are encouraged to communicate wellness concerns early and partner with Support Coaches, Advisors, and the SAFE Room system when needed.
7. Policies & Compliance
Parents should review the Code of Conduct, Attendance Policy, Technology Use Policy, and Academic Integrity Policy to understand expectations and procedures.
