ZAPZ Prep Technology Use Policy
Guidelines for using school devices, Smart Box, CYAN AR Glasses, uMouse, and all online platforms connected to ZAPZ Prep Virtual School.
1. Acceptable Use
Technology must be used for educational purposes only during school hours. Students are expected to follow all school rules while using devices and platforms.
2. ZAPZ Hardware
- Smart Box: For streaming ZAPZ Academy and live classes.
- CYAN AR Glasses: For immersive, hands‑free learning.
- uMouse: For accessibility and gesture‑based navigation.
Devices must be handled with care and used only by the enrolled student.
3. Prohibited Uses
- Accessing inappropriate or harmful content.
- Bypassing security or filters.
- Downloading unauthorized software.
- Sharing login credentials.
- Using devices for harassment or bullying.
4. Privacy & Security
Students must protect their passwords, avoid sharing personal information, and log out of devices when not in use.
5. Damage & Loss
Parents may be responsible for repair or replacement costs if ZAPZ‑issued hardware is lost or damaged due to negligence.
6. Monitoring
ZAPZ Prep may monitor activity on school platforms to ensure safety, academic integrity, and compliance with this policy.
